The Musings of Little Ones

Emily is in the car today with her daddy. Her favorite movie is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The conversation:
Emily: Daddy, I wish the policeman would stop you so I can get a golden ticket!


John David is in the bathtub.
JD: OH no!
mommy: What is it?
JD: It's gone!
mommy: What's gone?
JD: my ba'yee (belly) button!....gone!
mommy: Oh no where did it go?
JD: Down dat hole...down the drain!

Fun Relaxing Weekend!

What a fun, relaxing weekend! We had absolutely nothing planned, and those are the best weekends. We just did what we wanted to do. The kids had a blast playing on their slip-n-slide and riding bikes. Emmie learned to ride her bike all by herself. She was soo proud! They also had a chance to play with their cousin, Ethan. They love him! I think they must have run a mile around Nana's house, and then had to take a break for cheetos! Good times!

I Am Finally a Blogger!

I cannot believe this, but I have actually decided to start a blog. When am I going to have time for it with a full-time job, school, raising kiddos, and being a wife?...I don't know, but it has always looked really fun, so here I go. I do think this is a great way to tell a story of our life, which really never contains a dull moment. Our two year old and four year old make sure of that! I will start out by introducing our crew.

This is Emily, also known as Em or Emmie. She is our self-proclaimed princess (as you can see). Of course we think she is a princess. She is four years old and as sweet as pie!

This is John David, known to us as Bubby. He is our little comedian. He is two going on 12! Never a dull moment with this little guy...what a joy!:)
And, last but not least is us. Scott and I have been married for almost eight years. We have a wonderful life together with our kiddos.
My family=my heart!
